My boss is very demanding in all aspects of my job

I have a real life peeve. My boss is very demanding in all aspects of my job; therefore, I have become very knowledgable about my job.

I have been commended and thanked for above and beyond performance, so why is it that I have trained the last three assistant managers, which were new employees off the street, to do a job that I have been trying to get….Geez.
